BLANCO’s 1-3/4 PERFORMA SILGRANIT® II low divide sink is a Finalist in the 2011 KBCULTURE Awards
LUMBERTON, NJ, July 2011 – BLANCO, German innovator of finely crafted sinks and faucets, is a finalist in the 2011 KBCULTURE Awards in the sink category for its PERFORMA SILGRANIT II low divide sink. KBCULTURE is a selective review of the products, places and perspectives central to kitchen and bath design. International in scope, it is produced by Leslie Clagett, well-known industry editor and author of The New City Home, among other books.

The new 1-3/4 PERFORMA SILGRANIT II sink design offers an aesthetically pleasing low divide that accommodates large pot handles and other oversized items. Available in seven colors, PERFORMA’s elegant curves and fluid shape validates the current design trend that sinks should be noticed as a beautiful, not just functional, element of kitchen design.

 

“From a strictly aesthetic point of view, the top of a tall divider is not a pretty sight, somehow it seems old fashioned,” continues Clagett. PERFORMA’s low divide blends the extra functionality of a double sink with the utility of a super single to manage large items while keeping cleaning and prep areas separate.

 

BLANCO’s CULINA faucet was also awarded “Winner” in the KBCULTURE faucet category.
